SecuraCV on Apple TV. Witnessing without watching, on the big screen.

The biggest screen in the house — or behind the bar — showing your fleet's signed, tamper-evident record instead of a wall of live feeds. Works with the cameras you already own; costs nothing a month.

Home, Business & Apartment layouts · $0/month · works with the cameras you already run through Frigate

What it does

One app — for the living room, the bar, or the front door.

Every camera app on Apple TV is a grid of live feeds. This shows trust instead: what happened, sealed and signed, readable from across the room.

The Witness Wall

built, and tested on every change

  • ›Finds your fleet by itself. No typing, no account — it looks for your Canaries (and your hub, if you run one) on the home network and shows each as a calm tile.
  • ›Says “verified” only when it is. Pair it with your hub once; from then on every signature is checked against the key it pinned.
  • ›The day as a timeline. Sealed events as time windows, never instants — step through them with the Siri Remote.
  • ›Home, Business and Apartment layouts. A layout changes emphasis, never the data.
  • ›Doctor cards. If the Wall can't reach your fleet, one calm card says why, with one thing to try. Only a record that fails its check is raised as an alarm.
  • ›Stand watch. Opt in, and while the Wall is on screen it sends one coarse word to your own iCloud when a Canary goes dark.

Still to come

designed, and drivable in the emulator — not in the app yet

  • ›The witness screensaver. The fleet breathing and the chain growing — “all is well” as something you'd leave on.
  • ›Household break-glass. Unsealing evidence takes a family quorum, approved together on the shared screen.
  • ›One-tap Incident capture. Something happened at table six — one press bookmarks a sealed window around that moment.
  • ›Dispute-pack export. A signed timeline anyone can check offline; a sealed clip leaves only through break-glass.
  • ›One board for every site. Each location's health and chain integrity at a glance.

Why a venue wants it

The killer case isn't the living room. It's the bar.

Bars, restaurants, shops, gyms and clinics already run cameras — and often already have an Apple TV on the wall. Their pain was never “watch the feed.” It's prove what happened, without building a face archive to do it.

Compatible

Works with their cameras

Reads cameras through Frigate out of the box; direct RTSP (most ONVIF cameras) is a build option. No rip-and-replace, no per-camera cloud fee.

Evidence

A record for disputes, for free

Chargebacks, slip-and-fall claims, a walk-out at last call — each a signed, hash-chained event in a tamper-evident timeline, with no monthly bill.

Liability

A shield, not a face archive

The record is events — “motion at register 2 · 11:40–11:50 pm · sealed” — never a biometric archive of every customer. Less to hold, so less BIPA / GDPR / CCPA exposure.

At a glance

The calm back-of-house board

Not a grid staff learn to ignore: the Business layout is dense and readable across a bar in two seconds — device health and the timeline, nothing else.

What it deliberately doesn't do

It has your cameras. It still won't put faces on the wall.

No raw video wall

Footage never leaves your hardware

The TV renders the sealed record, never a live mirror of your feeds — enforced by the kernel's no-raw-export invariant, not just a setting.

Events, not identities

No face or plate archive

The wall shows coarse claims — motion, presence, a door — the same discipline every SecuraCV surface already keeps.

Read-only by design

No record of its own

The app holds no authoritative state: it re-reads the timeline from its source every time and, once paired, checks every signature again.

Not on the App Store yet. Something real to shape.

No countdown, no fake sign-up count — just an open thread where interest becomes the next thing built. Tell us whether you'd hang it at home, or behind the bar.

Built, not released: there is no SecuraCV app in the App Store yet — publishing waits on an Apple Developer account and App Store review. The code is open at kmay89/securaCV → tvos/, built and unit-tested on the tvOS Simulator on every change, with its chain math checked against the kernel's own test vectors. Makers can run it on their own Apple TV from Xcode with a free Apple ID.
